2 post in 1 day!!!

Hello Again,
This is going to be a short post because I just wanted to share something that I am excited about!! I'm starting out with Copic's and only have 72,but needed something to store them in. I can't take credit for the set up because my mother in law actually did this set up for her copic markers, but with different boxes. These are pencil storage containers that I found in the dollar section at Target. Aren't they adorable!!!! I only bought 3 in the beginning in case they didn't work out , but they fit all my markers perfectly. So , the next day I went to buy more and they only had 2 left so I grabbed them. I can't wait to get more markers just so I can put them in the boxes. Hehe. Check em out!!

Enjoyyyyy.

Not a card, but a fun book today.

Hello Ladies,
This is my first post in quite awhile. I've been at my mom's house for the last 3 weeks and boy, do I miss her. Okay, okay I won't go there right now. Back on track. Yesterday I was in kind of a rut so I wanted to try and do something creative. I look over in my scrapbook area and see chipboard so I decided I wanted to make some kind of a book. This is what I came up with!!

I covered the chipboard with paper from the White out Collection. I've had it for a while and never did anything with it, but I must say it is so pretty! I then took Sticky Letters and added Orange Glitter from Doodle bug. I had this large Flower stamp from Technique Tuesdays. I stamped 3 petals on Neenah paper and colored them with copics and then place them on the cover. I pop dotted the center of the flower to give it some dimension. The bling was a circle frame, but I stuck it on the top right corner and cut it where I wanted it to be, then with the left over piece of bling I placed it going around the "Diary" part. Added a little pink flower and for the center of that I used a little pearl. I used my Crop-a-Dile to make the holes for the ring's to bind the book together and with coordinating ribbon It's done!

This is the inside of the book.On the orange cardstock I used Distress ink embossing ink pad on a swirl stamp. I placed the swirls all over in different directions to cover the whole piece of the cardstock. I then put a clear sparkle embossing powder on that and heat set with my heat gun.I love the way it turned out. It's so cute and girly. I hope that you guys have enjoyed and maybe you will go in your scrap area's and make something!!! :-) Be Creative..

Fun Pop up card!!!!

Hello All,
It's 12:23 am and I just finished making a card. i absolutely love it!!! i haven't made a post in probably the last couple of days or maybe day I'm not so sure. okay, so i used random stuff for this card. The pattern paper is from the glitter spring stack, white and Orange card stock. The stamp of these adorable little birds i got at a stamp show back in November. Ill update with the name later. i colored them with Copics -b00,b002,yr 02,yr04,yr06,cool grey, and c3 and stamped them on Neenah paper of course.I gave the bigger bird Googly eyes!! I love the outcome. I didn't want to put the eyes on the smaller bird because I felt like they were too big and I didn't have a smaller size. ( gotta check into that)I know you can see the blogger homepage in my pics, but the card stood up well on my hubby's laptop. I really have to get a better setup in the taking pictures department for you guys!! i don't feel like posting all the directions and/or dimensions right now so ill probably do that tomorrow/today as well. i basically got antsy and wanted to get the pictures up. :-) *******update in the morning***********

Babies are oh so sweet...

Hello All,
Today has been a kinda a long and boring day for me. I don't know where the heck my creative flow was earlier, but I couldn't think of anything crafty to do or I just didn't have the ambition. *rolls eyes* Ahh, anyways I got to thinking and my sister in law is pregnant with a baby girl and I tried to make her a card yesterday, but my little 2 year old bumped me and I stamped the final touch sideways. Hahaha, so I decided that I could make her another card. Well, It took me longer than it usually does. I got lucky and had baby girl pink paper in a spring stack. ( I just love those stacks) so everything I picked match and all I had to do was find card stock and Yay, I didn't have to look long I had a perfect pink and light green which picked up some of the green in the pattern paper. I had the stamps I wanted in mind and I set to work. The stamps are from a set i picked up at Michael's back when I first started scrapping. That's where I got the cute little bear. As for the sentiment I got that from someplace and I can't for the life of me think of where I got it. It is a long image and all the words were supposed to be together but I just ink them separately so I could place them of 2 piece of different paper. I don't know I liked it. I have it finished,am proud of it and can't wait to send it to her. I used Copic markers to color the image, added ribbon and bam. I pop dotted all the pieces because that's the vision I had and the card measures 6x6 Enjoy...

I know this last image is kinda blurry, but it showed the entire card so I figured I'd add it. :-)

Another simple card..

Hello Everybody,
I'm back and with a new simple card. This little snowman came from an Inkadinkadoo set along with the little sentiment "There's no business, like Snow business" Isn't that too cute? These papers are from My minds eye. Can I express how much I love this paper? The ribbon I just bought from Michael's. I've used it on a lot of my cards I just love the color of it!! It went so great with these papers. Okay, so I stamped my image on Neenah paper and colored what little is colored with Copic markers. Like I said this card is pretty simple, so there isn't much for me to write in here today. *sorry* I did however, pop up the paper the snow man is on and added 2 blue with light blue polka dot brads on the each end of the sentiment. Enjoy..

So many cards,Too little time.

Hello Everyone,
I'm a little groggy this afternoon due to the fact I had to stay up late last night. My little guy is sick or so I think he is and he had a very late nap yesterday. So, by the time he woke up it was time for us to go to bed. Anyways, we stayed up with him and he finally fell asleep watching "Rudolph the rednose reindeer" He just loves Christmas. I am so very happy for him this year. He is a little over 2 and he knows so much. He is going to have a blast this year. Okay, back on topic. I have a few pictures today so if this blog looks really long It's becuase it's picture heavy. Lol. I didn't do all these cards in one night, I actully made these and just forget to take picture's so therefor they didn't get added in the blog. So here we go.

Picture # 1..
Same paper's from last blog's card and same stamp set, but if you don't feel like looking down to the last blog it is the C.C. Deisgns Winter bear stamp set. So adorable. Colored in with Copic Sketch markers and for the mittens, I just stamped, colored, cut out and then pop dotted them with a small peice of matching ribbon behind. I love this card. I embossed the white little sqaure with the snowflake texture place with my Sizzix bigshot. I know you can't see it, but it's really cute in person :-)

Card #2...
For this card I used the "My mind's eye" Christmas glitter stack. It has an antique feel that I just loved. I used the Coordianting cardstock as well. This santa stamp I got from our local Michaels. He's too cute. I stamped him in Timholts vintage photo distress ink ( Thanks Mammie) on smooth white cardstock then I added glitter to some of his beard I then took a sponge and with the same ink as before wen't over his face and around the edges to give it a really anitique look. I added a ribbon with bow and a few flowers. :-) i like this card! Simple yet cute.

Card # 3
Okay, so I used the Christmas Glitter stack and Christmas cardstock stack for this one. This Snowman stamp I got from our then local crafting store *Your happy Place* Unfortunaly the store is closed now, but I found this stamp and it brought back memories. I stamped them on Neenah paper and colored with copics. I must admit the coloring isnt' that great on this one,but the card still turned out nice. I added dimaond glase on the snowmens buttons and ornament's. i then used my quicky glue pen and on the snow underneathe of the snow men used Martha Stewarts snowflake glitter. So cute. I used Lime green sugar brads on the 4 corners of the stamped image and with a ribbon and bow this card is complete. I love this one!!!

Last,but not least card # 4

Okay, so these stamps are magnolias. (I just love them) I'm not too excited about how it came out, it's cute ,but I expected more from myself. Ahh, It is what it is. ( my dear friend Chris always says) I like it enough to post it so here we go. I used again My minds eye paper and cardstock. Stamped my image on neenah paper and colored with copics. Distressed it with vintage photo and that's pretty much it. Here ya go.
That's it for now guys. Thanks for looking and feel free to leave comments. If you have any qeustion email me I will be happy to answer. Until next time.. Have a great day!!!
-Brittany.
